Robotik challenge: Robot Performance 2010 in NRW

06.05. - 19.06.2010 - Especially for girls - Fraunhofer IAIS designed a robotic challenge called "Robot Performance". The Robot Performance is designed to get young girls interested in science and technolgies by constructing, programming (maximum two robots) LEGO Mindstorms robots. Additionally they have to create a perfromance or a story using their robots. Also the teams (8 to 10 members) have to inroduce the audience and teh judges which idea is behind their performance and how they have had programmed the robots and which problems aroused.

Roberta at the fair didacta 2010

16.03. - 20.03.2010 - This year Roberta will be represented in Hall 10.1 booth B 038 at our cooperation partner Technik LPE at didacta 2010 in Cologne.

We are presenting the teaching and learning materials of Roberta, novelties about Roberta, as well as a limited edition of the Roberta-box with an exclusively Roberta Dress-Up Set compiled by LEGO MINDSTORMS Education.

Come to the fair didacta 2010 in Cologne, we look forward to your visit!

"The top manager Angelika Gifford (member of the Microsoft management board Germany) holds her own in a man's world in an exemplary manner, as a successful IT manager, combining work and family," said Prof. Ulrike Detmers in her tribute at the prize presentation. In addition, she praised Angelika Gifford's engagement as a mentor for young women managers and her commitment to the networking of women at Microsoft and beyond. The prize money of 5,000 Euro will be tripled by Angelika Gifford to 15,000 Euro and donated to Roberta©.
