Roberta Network

The Roberta network serves both the preparation of the courses and support for the course instructors. It is intended to promote both the regional and European-wide exchange of experiences. The Roberta Regional Centres coordinate the courses in their regions and train and support the course instructors (e.g. teachers, educators, skilled students). Furthermore, they provide robot construction kits to be loaned to schools for use in Roberta courses. An institution has to fulfill a certain set of requirements to be eligible as a Roberta Regional Centre.

• a strong interest in questions of technical education and gender
• the infrastructure to promote the dissemination of the Roberta idea in their region
• all the necessary resources required to achieve the dissemination
• experience in teacher training, adult education or youth work
