Training & materials for teachers from primary school to high school
Playful, exciting, fast and imparting - the aim of Roberta training courses is to teach teachers from elementary school to secondary level II the knowledge and skills they need to use digital and innovative learning materials. For 15 years, the Roberta Initiative has been training teachers to become Roberta Teachers. Roberta training courses are based on the Fraunhofer IAIS's repeatedly evaluated training concept. Fraunhofer scientists work together with experienced teachers to develop gender-appropriate teaching and learning materials and curriculum content, and teach them to the participants of the training courses on a hands-on basis.
First steps in the lab

Here you will find building instructions for different robots, which you can construct with your pupils.
Roberta Basic Training
The Roberta Basic Training offers teachers a good introduction to the development and programming of robotics and hardware from the field of educational robotics, even without previous knowledge. In addition to teaching of technical skills, the personal exchange with the Roberta Coach and the participants offers the opportunity to reflect directly on what has been learned and discuss the potentials for one's own lessons in the group.
Roberta eXperts Training
Advanced programming: The Roberta eXperts Training courses are designed for certified Roberta Teachers or teachers who already have experience with graphical programming environments. Depending on the orientation, it goes into the expert mode of the Open Roberta Lab or into the depths of the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 or NXT systems. The training courses are practice-oriented. The number of participants is limited, so please register in good time.
